Wow, one slacky day today!
My morning started off wrong. Woke up early but spent too much time watching T.V and having breakfast. Little did I know that the time had gone by quickly! Rushed off to get ready. By then, it was already 8.50. Ran all the way to school. Saw Cheryl and Jun Wei on the bridge. Phew, I thought I was gonna be really late. Haha.
ComDI was fun. It's basically about communication so we learnt some english and literature stuff. It was a good thing I learnt all those before. Oxymoron, onomaetopeia, simile, metaphors, blah, blah. Made a straw tower for our first group assignment. Of course, my group came out with the best idea. Haha. Next was Lighting Studies. Was kinda bored during the class. All those different kind of lightbulbs made me stone off to my own little world. So I doodled the time away. Haha. Good thing we got 30 minutes break for both classes. Never had this priviledge before. So it was kinda slack.
Oh, this week is gonna be filled with trips. We're going to Singapore Art Museum for ComDI tomorrow. Supposed to observe art pieces and write down what we think of it. Cool! Then for LightStu, we're assigned to take light measurements from different light sources. We were told to go out to malls or whatever to do so. My group decided to head off to National Library and Raffles Place. Yet another trip. Oh yeah, on Thursday there will also be a trip for LightStu to Empress Place.
I was watching Oprah Winfrey on the tele just now. There was this group of kids at Toy's 'R' Us and they were all just raring to go with their carts in hand. Soon, they rushed off into the store and grabbed whatever they could into the cart. Boy, they sure are lucky. They're living my childhood dream of grabbing anything in Toy's 'R' Us! If I could do that, these are some of the things I would really want:
- X-Box 360
- Sony Playstation Portable
- Digimon (If they still have it)
- Computer Games
- Star Wars, LOTR, Gundam Figurines
Haha, it'd be so cool!
By the way, here's a thought for all.
Would there be war if everyone were afraid to die for his own country? Hmm, I never thought of this before but I think it's a good way to end war and conflicts once and for all.
Cheers!
Oh, Australia lost! NOOOO!!!
