I'm dead beat.
Woke up early in the morning and went to Cheryl's to take photos for ComDI. Some people were late so I had to wait for like an hour before we can start shooting. Didn't take us too long, but we kinda goof off most of the time. So it actually took us longer than I expected. Helped out with some finishing touches before heading off for home to get ready for BayBeats! Yeah!
BayBeats was crazy man. I mean, moshes and yelling. It was great fun. Though there were other gigs crazier than this, I think this was almost close to being intensely crazy. Haha. I saw a female bassist who was soooo cool! She looks cute too and she can really play with attitute. I'm kinda looking for a female bassist like that for my side project.
Went there with Amir, Mizan, Munir and Saha. Had dinner at Marina Square before heading for BayBeats. Mizan kept on making a scene with his stupid antics that people were all staring at us. Haha. But it was fun. Can't enjoy yourself if you don't do anything dumb rite?
So, I got squeezed during the last part of the gig by The Velvet Teen! They were like damn good! One Buck Short also rocks my damn socks!!! Their songs are so cool! Definitely gonna get me their album. DEFINITELY! Haha.
I was able to catch One Buck Short, Plain Sunset and The Velvet Teen at the arena. Managed to get front row view for the last two shows. It was so crazy security was'nt even able to control the crowd towards the end. So everyone was like free to mosh and bodysurf. Cool man! Pure chaos. They even chanted 'Fuck You!' when the police actually threatened to cancel the show. It was pure madness!
I was able to meet up with Gen and her friends later on, so I hung out with them to watch The Velvet Teen. Too bad the guys went home early. Front row was crazy. You can get squeezed by people who moshed. But who cares, it's a gig! Things like this always happen. It tends to get out of hand most of the time. At the end of the night, I saw how lucky Gen was. She got a lanyard and a One Buck Short drumstick! It was a Travis Barker Signature Sticks. I think it cost expensive outside. Lucky girl. Haha.
Wanted to catch the last train home, but was scared I couldn't make it. So I shared a cab with the girls. Was beat from the days activities that I didn't realise I fell asleep. Woke up to find out we're already at Bedok.
Welp, it was fun. Hope to do it again soon. I'm like so psyche about making music now. There's so many ideas in my head that I wanna implement in my songs. Looks like I'm gonna jam pretty damn soon! Haha.
INDIE DEFINITELY ROCKS!
Cheers!!!
