I just got back from Katong after a jamming session. Words can't put how great it has been. First of all, we were warmly greeted by the band from FreakShow (or is it PeepShow). Then we were guided into a studio which looked like a warzone! Haha. The studio was still under renovation but the guys invited us over to give the studio a shot. So we did, and we had a helluva great time. Also, we got to play with the new equipments!

The drums and bass were new, while the guitar... it was an EPIPHONE! Dang, my dream of playing an Epiphone guitar finally came true today! Haha. Plus, it was still brand new. Oh yeah! But there was no air-con, so we sweated like spoilt running water cooler.

After the session, the manager of the studio came over to see us. I thought he was gonna scold us cos we asked the guys to extend our time a few minutes more. But then, all he did was gave us a handshake and welcome us. Haha. Then after that, everything went super.

Sunny (the manager of the studio), asked us if we have any two dollar note. So Rafie gave it to him. Then he pasted it onto a black piece of paper and asked us to write down or sign that paper. He said he's gonna frame it and put it on the wall to make us the band of honor of the studio! Awesome laa! They even asked us to pose for a picture to hang together with the framed paper. So if you guys ever go to the studio in Katong, be sure to look out for the picture frame with us in it. Haha.

So after that, we just chilled with Mike and SK (the guys from FreakShow/PeepShow) together with Sunny. As we talked, we managed to ask for gig slots and most probably we'll be giging with them anytime soon! Wahaha! They'll be having a show at Marine Cove at East Coast this Sunday but we'll not be able to make it cos of Hari Raya Haji. Oh well, but we'll be back next week to hang out and jam again there.

It's nice that we're finally being recognise by quite a number of bands recently and perhaps, our dreams might just become a reality. Woohoo! Oh yeah, thanks to Sunny, the jam session was on the house. That guy is such a great guy man. Thanks dude!

I'll be heading to Amir's again later to help him finish up the designs of his bike. It's looking spiffy I must say. Haha. Metallic red and silky black. It's a beaute. I'm not sure what plans we'll have later in the night but I'll update again if there's anything more to add.

Death Note anime is an awesome show! If you think it's dumb, think again. Go watch it!

Cheers!
