Five days after and I'm finally back home. Wee!

Camp was quite fun, but damn tiring sia. By tired I mean VERY VERY VERRRY TIRED! Most of us had only 3-4 hours of sleep per day. It may sound okay, but each day was pretty taxing and we tried to get as much rest as we can anytime there's a chance. Like if there's talk or whatever. Haha. But overall, I think the Camp Radical was a success.

FIRST DAY:

Reached school at five. Mostly talks and briefings, followed by free time. So we just slacked and hang out till late. We were cocky to think that we'll have energy to last the five days with very little sleep. Haha. If only we knew sooner.

SECOND DAY:

First day of DOC. Damn hot day, but who cares. Most of us were excited to see the freshmen, but we were'nt brief properly about of tasks for the day, so the whole registering process went abit slow. I was assinged to WONKA (I), together with Jacen, Joleen and Roh. The (I) was soon replaced with I-Yo. Haha, funny name.

I think my group consist of a bunch of nice people, just that they were shy... VERY SHY! Haha. So it took us some time for us to make them 'ra-ra.' Played some ice-breaker games then its off to lunch. The weather was very hot la, but it rained soon after we were having our station games. So the whole thing had to be called off. Then there's some more talk and the end of day 2 of DOC.

THIRD DAY:

The third day really had a toll on me. I think the hot weather made me had sore throat cos I didn't drink water. Met-up with the sub-empire and we had more ice-breaker games. I saw that the group finally began to open up slowly, but surely. Frankly, I was happy when I heard them shout the loudest 'oei.' After the ice-breaker games, they had lunch with their care-takers. Damn, the whole school was very noisy cos most of the freshmen were lost and didn't know where to go. Haha. I myself too got a headache and it got bad later part in the day.

After lunch was some talk for the freshmen and then it's human foosball game! Damn cool la cos its something like foosball, only with real people. I had a go on it and it was damn fun la. Haha. Oh yah, I-Yo won against some sub-empire from Vader I think. Woo, I was very pleased!

After that was flag design and mass cheer. Some of them wanted to do the flag instead of going for the mass cheer, so I followed them. Headache got worse but good thing one of my freshmen had panadol. I'd like to thank her so I write her name down in my blog. THANKS YZANNE! Haha. Oh, the end result of the flag was very cute. It looked like those tribal tiki and we ended up calling him Peter. I shall post Peter's picture soon.

Joined the rest for the treasure hunt followed by dinner and preparation for games at Sentosa. Yup, the whole 300 plus people in Design head to Sentosa in the evening by PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Haha. The bus-stop was filled with Design campers and I think it was cool. Reached Sentosa at 10 then it's station games. I got very sick by then but my freshmen were very nice to look out for me and they told me to rest, especially QUEENIE AND YZANNE, THANKS AR!. The thing that I like was that they were good working together, just that they got to make themselve more enthusiastic. Only then would everything be perfect. But you can't get them all right? So I was very happy to hear their cheer being loud and them working together as a team.

After that was supper at Sentosa and photo taking. I'll post the group photo as soon as I get them. Peter gave us the will and guided us through all the challenges at Sentosa. All hail PETER!

Back to school by charted bus and it's the end of day 3 for them. Celebrated YJ and Ain's birthday, showered and sleep.

FOURTH DAY:

Woke up damn early but I had sleep, so it was good. By sleep I meant really KOed sleep. Haha. So I had to meet up with my sub-empire early so they can have breakfast at Mensa. It was a good time for them to mingle while I took this chance to catch some sleep. After that we discussed abit for performance night. The group wasn't co-operative so I was a little disappointed in them, but they got some idea after giving them loads of suggestions. Next up was the mass dance. It was alright, but the fun part was doing the chicky dance. The whole school was crazy and I like that! Haha.

Lunch was next and then it was briefing and talks for the freshmen. Me and some of the GLs slacked at Jupiter's Cafe. Seriously speaking, it felt DAAAMN GOOOOOD! Haha. The weather was good and the ice-cream only made it better. Thanks ar Nick for the ice-cream!

Chilled some more and then it's off for Genesis rehearsal. So we went to the studio at the CCA corner or something and we rehearsed for the performace. The room was nice and cozy and it had pillows! So most of us just slacked there cos it was cooling and comfortable. We planned to sleep there for the night, but the air-con is controlled and couldn't be turned on at night.

After that was dinner and then preparation for performance night. It took us some time to prepare but the end result was nice. Peter was the main attraction. Haha. But I wished they had cheered more loudly for the performance, it would have been better. Oh yah, we GLs too do our part. Haha. The skit was funny la, if only we had recorded it.

So after that was nightwalk. The preparation for the walk was done nicely. The whole school had this eerie atmosphere. But the number of people in each sub-empire is around 25, which is alot, so the nightwalk wasn't too scary. It was better during DOTC. It scare the pants out of me! Haha.

The nightwalk ended at about 1am and they screened the answer to the riddles through a clip they made. Damn nice la. I like it alot alot alot!

Supper then it's shower and off to sleep!

FIFTH DAY:

Regatta day. Everyone looked tired but the spirit's still there. Had breakfast then gathered at triangular garden. It was preparation for the final clash and so it was cheers after cheers after cheers. But it was nice to see them so 'ra-ra' on the last day. It was a big difference during the first day.

Off to sports complex after lunch. It was pretty noisy but the atmosphere's there. It was here I scream the hell out till I lost my voice. Haha. But fun la. Quite sad to see Design didn't do too well in the games. Oh well, it's alright!

Dragonboat race after that at Bedok reservoir. Didn't managed to catch some parts cos I was helping Cheryl with her printing of cards. Haha. Quite disappointed the the picture wasn't able to be transferred cos there was some error.

So we went back to Bedok reservoir to see the race. Design did alright by clinching second in most races. So it was prize giving after that. We won best spirited. WOOHOO!

Back to Design after that then it's shower for the freshmen. Shower being water bombs and pails and pails of water spalshing at them from the third and fourth floor. Haha. Fun!

Jam and hop after that then it's supper and back home. Slept as soon as I can. Haha.
