NIRVANA IS THE DOPE MAN! grunge is the way to go, NOT EMO!

so this week's genre is GRUNGE, nirvana and more nirvana. plus seether, silverchair and a lil bit of oligarchy and muddybanks. haha. muddybanks sounds like the real 'ol grunge, kinda like nirvana. it's good to see that there's still some grunge movement here in singapore.

met the band for jam session just now. fucking great man! we jammed to "smells like teen spirit." i totally headbanged! haha. to be able to play our old songs again was damn shiok. we've been playing the same song over and over again during our recording and it's been getting irritating.

speaking of recording, i've just gotten the mixed version of the song. kinda say, i'm pretty disappointed cos it was'nt the way i want it to be. looks like we'll be going down to the studio again to help out with the mixing.

the vocals for the mixed sounds good, but i prefer the sound from the raw. mixed version - the guitars and drums sound kinda messy, and my bass can't even be heard! haha. but restrictions sound damn fucking amazing! can't believe we created that song.

i'm proud of my band. we're reaching the third year as a band in march, still going strong with more originals and growing passion.

had a long talk after jam and it was damn good. talked bout stuffs and it really makes you feel good. haha. one thing i won't ever regret in my life, is making a band and with them in it.
