maybe it's just me, but i think the anthem for the united kingdom and scotland is pretty cool. i mean, the name just says it all! haha.
'god save the queen' sounds cool, even
'scotland the brave' now that's just a morale booster for men fighting in war.
speaking of war, the history of the european countries are pretty interesting too. put aside the bloodsheds and stuff and read about how countries try to gain power and those who seek independence. courageous men who brave the frontline to fight for a cause be it an order from the king or just a rebellious movement. people back then were really brave (or really reckless) and skillful compared to the ones now - solely dependent on machines and science technology.
it's kinda like reading more of a fantasy book but based on a real account. kinda makes me wished i had paid more attention during social studies or history class.
reason why i got caught up with such stuff?.. celtic punk just spark this interest all of a sudden. haha! now the tunes of bagpipe is running through my freaking head. -_-"
