finally got my hands on metallica's death magnetic! i even bought the limited edition album cover and i really must say it's worth every cent. the whole 10 track just gets you into this pure metal frenzy.

there's a few things i'd like to commend about this album:

first would be james' vocals. it's different from how he would normally sing in the previous albums. the contrast between his raspy voice in 'the end of the line' to the clean 'unforgiven III' was really something that makes this album worth listening.

the other would be reviving back to their real sound. i'm glad they didn't follow st. angers direction but instead, went back to their roots of trash and heavy metal.

i'm just stoked that death magnetic wasn't a huge disappointment. brings back to the time metallica played a huge role in my life and still do.

4.5/5 for death magnetic!
